cv and biography

Dunhill and O’Brien have been working collaboratively since 1998, based in both Bristol and London. They have been involved in exhibitions in galleries and project spaces in the UK, Ireland, Holland, Italy, Germany and Japan and have participated in residencies including the British School at Rome and the European Ceramic Work Centre s’Hertogenbosch, Holland.

Dunhill and O’Brien also edit and direct the research portal: www.collabarts.org that investigates the nature of, and issues related to, collaborative art practice through essays, links, interviews and a timeline.

Mark Dunhill completed a BA (Hons) in Fine Art at Bristol Polytechnic and graduated with an MA in Sculpture from the Royal College of Art, London in 1977, he is currently Dean of Arts at Central St Martins (University of the Arts London).

Tamiko O’Brien studied Fine Art at North East London Polytechnic and graduated with an MA in Sculpture from Chelsea College of Art, London in 1988, she is currently Head of School of Fine Art (Acting) at Wimbledon College of Art (University of the Arts London).
